Prayash Vidya Mandir follows a transparent and merit-based admission process for Class VI, in line with the norms prescribed by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.

Apply for Entrance Test
Fill out the online application form available on the school website to register for the exam.
Appear for Entrance Examination
Take the MCQ-based entrance test covering Class V syllabus in four core subjects.
Selection & Merit List
Admission is granted strictly on merit, and results are published on the notice board and website.
Document Submission
Submit required documents and registration fee; admission is confirmed after TC verification.

Eligibility for
Admission
- Admission is open only for Class VI.
- The age of the child must be as per the age criteria prescribed by the Government of Odisha for admission into Class VI.
- Admissions to other classes are not entertained. However, in case of vacancies in higher classes, admission may be granted at the discretion of the School Management based on merit and entrance test performance.
Entrance Test
Details
Admission to Class VI is granted based on the performance of the student in an Entrance Test conducted by the school.
Subjects Covered:
❖ Mathematics
❖ Science
❖ English
❖ Social Studies (SST)
Question Pattern:
❖ Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only
❖ Each subject section contains 15 questions
❖ Total: 60 questions
Marking Scheme:
❖ Each correct answer carries 4 marks
❖ 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer (negative marking)
❖ Total Marks: 240
Duration of Exam:
❖ 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Note: Students are advised to prepare based on the syllabus of Class V.
